Manta Vision Labs

In the ocean, the “Manta Moment” is that split second when a giant ray emerges from the deep blue and suddenly you are in its presence — everything goes quiet, the scale of the ocean becomes clear, and you are forced into a state of total, calm awe.

My path has been a navigation of these waters.

It began with a focus on the landscape — learning to read the deep currents and seeing how different systems move together from a distance. I spent time studying the “Vista,” looking for the patterns in the water before they ever reached the shore. This 360-degree vision was the beginning — an exploration of an infinite world of possibilities.

Floating the Stations

Moving to Bali was about being closer to the source. While building GeckoRoutes, I spent my time floating between different stations. I wasn't in a hurry; I was learning the geography of the web — connecting APIs, coordinating movements, and gathering intelligence. I spent years exploring the temperature of the water and understanding how the tides work. Each project was a point of insight, a place to rest and learn before moving back into the blue.

The Manta Breakthrough

Eventually, the friction of the swim changed.

The arrival of AI-native tools — ChatGPT, Cursor, and Claude Code — marked a shift in the physics of the build. The gap between seeing a path and moving along it started to close. It wasn't about reaching a new level, but rather about the weight of the build lifting.

I found that I could move through the architecture with less resistance. The barrier between the “Top-Down” view and the “Bottom-Up” execution began to dissolve. I stopped fighting the current and started to Glide.
